How do I change Microsoft Picture Manager from being the default .

My images are off site and picture manager will not open them up. How do I
get my ACDSee program as the default program again? It was working fine until
I did the update service pack 2. I feel robbed of my ability to choose which
program I want to use. I have already changed all the folder views to ACDSee,
but it doesn't seem to matter much, Microsoft overrides it! :(
 
Tools | Options | Configure Editors.
