Default photo editing program

I have Picassa and like it. I have recently bought a new digital
camera which came with the new ACDSee for my Optio Pentax which I had
to instal. Now the former Picassa default has been replaced by this
ACDSee one and I don't like it as much. I like ACDSee for editing
though.

When I attach a reduced email-format photo with my emails the program
now sends them not as a visual attachment at the end of the text but
as a separate item and asks the recipient to choose a program to see
the photo(s). I don't like this either.

How can I revert back to what I had before please - or even just
something that will show the pictures on the screen below the text in
an email rather than separately.

Thanks for any help

ACDSee changed the file association(s). If you don't like this, change them
back.

Way #1:
Right click on an image of the type that you wish to correct.
Select "Open With"
Select which program you want to use
Select to use this program for all files of the type.
Exit

Way #2
Go to Folder Options in Windows Explorer
Select file associations
Find the type(s) that you wish to change
Change the program for all of these types to the program that you want to
use
Exit

Way #3
Same as Way #2 except you go to Folder Options in the Control Panel

Way #4
Involves a registry edit.
