How do I change Access ownership from <unknown>?

I can not delete some old outdated files. One reason is that the locked file
(.ldb) was not deleted when the file was closed. Another I believe is
because the ownership for the database is shown as <unknown>. This ownership
is shown for other features such as tables, forms, ... which I can change to
'Admin' but can't do it for database.

This is most likely due to someone improperly exiting Access (often using
Ctrl + Alt + Del).

Create a new blank database, to which you log on as the user that you want
to own all the objects. Import all objects from the old database to the new
one.
