How do I capture the Mouse Pointer for screen shots?

Print screen + Ctrl, Print screen + Shift, Print screen +
Alt, combinations of these, and print screen by itself all
are causing my pointer to blink during the moment of
capture and not show up when I paste the screen shot into
a document. Any thoughts?

Are you saying that you're not getting the screen capture or that
the capture doesn't include the pointer?

If the latter, that's correct. It doesn't include the pointer.
There are third-party programs that can capture the screen along
with the pointer, but I have no experience with any, so I won't
make a recommendation. Perhaps someone else can suggest one.
