How do I cancell/delete an outgoing receipt?

I received an email with a receipt request, however that email account won't
send out going receipts through server. And unlike an email, it doesn't
appear in the OUTBOX to delete or change "send using".
Its continually keeps trying to resend, with errors popping up, and slowing
down my incoming/outgoing while interupting me while outlook is in use.
PLEASE HELP!
