How do I block a signal...

I have been having troubles with conflicting signals. I will get logged off of my connection only to pick up my neighbors connection. I know there is a way to block that signal out I just don't know how to do it. HELP!!!

First make sure your neighbors network is not in your Preferred Networks
list. Then from the Wireless Networking properties select the "Advanced"
button and uncheck "Always connect to non-preferred networks".
