How do I back up my user settings and user data?

Ismael

Hello everyone,

I've been using Outlook Express for a while now and I'm familiar with
backing up my user settings and user data for this program but would like to
start using Outlook. I would like to know how to back up my user settings
and user data for Outlook should I have a problem with my hard drive and
need to reinstall Outlook and all the settings that I made to it as well as
all the user data (messages, address book, notes, calendar info, tasks, SIM
card info, etc.).

I'm using WinXP Pro with all the updates installed as well as Office XP Pro
with all the updates installed.

Thanks to all who reply,

Ismael

There is a backup utility that you can use to backup your data in Outlook
2003. Here is a link to an article that explains the backup utility,
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/238782. Unfortunately I am not aware or any
way to backup the account settings in Outlook 2003.

I hope this information is helpful.

What about exporting the
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging
Subsystem\Profiles key or using Office's Save My Settings Wizard?
