How do I automatically send/recieve upon opening outlook 2007?

office 2003 had a box to check in mail setup to send/recieve when you opened
email in outlook. Can't find it for office 2007 while using gmail.

That's because no such setting exists. It didn't exist in Outlook 2003,
either. If you schedule an automatic send/receive every so often, Outlook
will perform a send/receive when first opened.

Options>Mail Setup tick send immediately when connected
Send/Receive Btn, schedule an automatic........ not less than 10 mins
