How do I animate one word in a paragraph?

Is there a way I can animate ONE word within a paragraph in Power Point? I'm
creating a fill in the blanks type presenation. Where there is a blank
section, I can click the mouse, and the word will appear.

Make two text objects - - one with the full paragraph and one with the single
word. Leave enough blanks in the paragraph to accomodate the word. Drag the
word into place on top of the paragraph and while it is still selected apply the
"Appear" animation to it. When the slide is displayed there will be a black in
the paragraph. When you click the mouse the blank will be filled in.
