Entrance animation in Powerpoint 2002 SP3

Greetings,

I created a multiage presentation. By mouse click on the name of city in
first page with a map as background, a new blank page will appear then first
paragraph, second & etc; then an icon for return to the first page.

When for first time presentation starts everything is go well, I mean
paragraphs is being appear one after one according to the selected entrance
transition (there is just entrance transition) but when return back to the
first page then select the same city's name (the already showed slide) the
page and paragraphs appear immediately without any animation.

So kindly let me know, how I can keep the same animation after 2nd or 3rd
access to previously been showed slide.

Try adding a new first page which is blank (or a copy of the original if you
prefer) and has an auto transition of zero seconds. You should find now that
the original first page animations will play.

Dear John,

Thank you for advice. Actually, my problem is not the first page animations.
I mean, when from first page link I show the other pages only for first time
the entrance animation of the target page act properly and when I return to
the first page via a link then again follow the same route, target page
appear immediately without any animation.

Then put the blank page (with automatic transition after 0 seconds)
before the target page and make the links to the blank page, not the
target page.
