I am trying to add a logo to a power[oint presentation that has an irregular
shape. I do not want the scanned background to show. On my Mac It's easy to
copy and paste from photoshop, but when it's shown on a PC, there is the
original background showing. How do I get rid of the background on a PC?

Instead of doing a copy and paste, save the image as a transparent gif or
transparent png (my preference is the png). Then use Insert--> Picture -->
From File to add the picture to your slide or slide master.
