How do I add a custom watermark to the gallery?

I create a watermark, then apply it to a sheet. How can I add this watermark
to the gallery? How can I save it for re-use?

From your mention of the gallery, can I assume this is in Word 2007?

If so, double-click the header area to open it, and click the watermark to
select it. Press Alt+F3 to open the Create New Building Block dialog. Set the
Gallery dropdown to "Watermark". Give it a name and, optionally, a category.
Click OK.
