How do I access in on iTunes?

I've already installed the iTunes software on my desktop. When I clicked on
the iTunes' icon, iTunes sent an error report. It said the following; "iTunes
has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the
inconvenience".
The message also said to tell Microsoft about this problem.
