How can the action taken on a message be viewed on the envelope ic

I have Outlook at my work and at home. The Outlook at work will show an
arrow on the envelope icon in the Inbox window to indicate if I have replied
to the message or forwarded the message. I do not have to open the message
to find that information. When I do open the message, it will tell me more
information such as the date and time I forwarded or replied to the message.
How can I get my Outlook at home to show me the action taken on the envelope
icon without having to open the message?

You haven't provided much info. What version(s) of Outlook? What kind of
mail account(s)? Are you checking the same mail account? Are you expecting
to see the replied/forward information at home for the stuff you
replied/forwarded in your Outlook profile at work? That isn't likely to
work, but again, you haven't provided much info.

At work, I have Microsoft Outlook Web Access and at home I have Outlook 2003.

The mail account at work stays on our server and I can get into Outlook Web
Access through our webpage and see all of the forward/reply information,
etc. for my email account. I can see the email information if I am at work
connected directly to our server, or at home, connected through our webpage.

The email account I have at home on Outlook 2003 is separate from the one at
work and is linked to Hotmail. At home, I open Outlook 2003 on my PC and the
email comes from my Hotmail account. Does this help make the question more
clear?

Thanks.

At home, I open Outlook 2003 on my PC and the
email comes from my Hotmail account.

Hotmail messages are not capable of showing the 'replied to' or
'forwarded' icons that other types of accounts do in Outlook.

Thanks! Do you know why the replied to and forwarded arrows show on the
icons in Outlook Express but not Outlook 2003 when connected to the same
Hotmail account?

Thanks.

Different programs have different behavior.
