How can I tell how many people viewed my site without a counter?

I'm using FP02, is there a way to see how many people are viewing your
site without using a counter?

contact your host and see if there is access to the stats.
you may also be able to open the live site with FrontPage and see:
file/ open web, type in the http:// address
hit reports/ usage and there is some info there.

you could also use a hit counter and a custom picture that is really just a
small transparent .gif. you'd then open the online web, look into the
_private folder for the counter file, open it with notepad and see what it
says.
