how can I stop receiving duplicate messages/headers in my IMAP?

I am receiving duplicate email messages/headers on my IMAP Outlook 2003
account. When I shut down and come back, they are gone. But I can't do that
every time I receive an email or two.

One of the headers will produce an error message that the email has not been
fully downloaded. The other will open the message.

I've tried removing all accounts from the Outlook installation, and adding
only one back in. This works temporarily. After a few days, the problem is
back.

I've reset the timeouts, checked to make sure that the inbox is set to
receive all the message, including attachments. Etc.

This is driving me nuts!

Thanks, but that article is for POP mail. It is not for IMAP mail. Either
way, I have the SP installed and the behavior began well after that happened.
