receiving duplicate attachments in Outlook for GMail IMAP

R

Richard

Hi,

I'm using Outlook 2007. I have my Gmail account set up as IMAP.

When I receive an e-mail message in my Gmail account in Outlook that has
attachments, I receive two copies of each attachment. For example, a message
may have one attachment, but there are two attachments in the message. If
there are two attachments, I receive four attachments in the message.

However, when I check my Gmail account, the same message only has the
original attachment.

Any ideas on why this happens?

Thanks,

Richard

Disable mail scanning or uninstall it. See if it works now after a reboot.

Thanks. I tried this and it worked.

As a test, after turning off content filtering I turned it on agtain, and it
is working.

Not sure why this is happening. Maybe a Gmail glitch?

Thanks,

Richard
