How can I share BCM information from Office Live via Outlook Conne

I have Office Live Essentials and would like to share Business Contact
Manager data among 2-3 computers running Office Pro 2007 via the Outlook
Connector.

Has anybody done this and can you point me to what I need to do? I cannot
find this information anywhere.

Thank you!

Charlie:

This is a real bummer -- it was supposed to work and doesn't. You can
create a SharePoint List and import the contacts from Office Live into that,
and I guess you could drag and drop them into BCM Contacts, but it's far
less than an elegant solution.

Keep banging the drum and maybe they'll fix it sooner than later...

Thank you Lon!

It would be great is somehow we could map one of the Shared Folders in
Office Live and made it drive 'Z', placing the database there and then
sharing it across computers. I tried that and I could map it as 'Z' but I am
not savvy enough to know how to move my BCM database there.

I will keep trying.

Thanks!

A database is connected to directly using the database networking
software. A database is not a simple file that everyone can open as
long as the file is on a share.

To share a database, all the machines that will be sharing the
database must be able to connect to the machine hosting the database.
If all the machines are in the same office, using the same LAN, you
can use BCM's existing database sharing feature. If the machines are
not on the same network, you may be able to get them to share a
database using a VPN, but this is tricky.
