Need to Share BCM Database - Office Online?

Jared

I currently use BCM 2007 to handle sales and support for my company.
Under each account I track phone calls, appointments, site visits and
history. BCM has proven to be a very effective CRM tool.

My business is growing and I now have an employee with whom I need to share
the Accounts, Contacts, Full history and my calender with. We will rarely be
in the same location so I've messed around with office online but can't seem
to integrate/synchronise my existing outlook calender and CRM information.

Could you please advise if this is the correct path to take? - or a simple
manner to share BCM info & my calender?

Thankyou in advance.

Sharing a calendar usually requires both users using the same Exchange
server, although there may be other solutions using a web service out
there.

There isn't anything today to synchronize BCM through a web service.
Some people put the BCM database on a company server, and then login
to the company network remotely through VPN that allows their PC to
connect to the BCM database server.

If those aren't an option, you could try exporting everything that has
changed since the last sync data from one PC, and importing (with the
merge) option on the other PC, and then doing the reverse. It's manual
work, but it works in many cases.
