How can I share assigned color categories on a shared calendar

Lori T.

I created a calendar in Outlook 2007, added a bunch of appointments and color
coded (categorized) each event, but the color coding doesn't show when I
share the calendar with my staff. Any suggestions?

You need to deploy your categories and colors to your staff. Category
Manager helps you to do that easily. For the download and more details see
the link in my signature, please.

Is there ANY other way to SHARE color assignments of categories accross
outlook 2007 users other than a 3rd party application?

My goal is to have the same categories and colors for ALL users.
Any suggestion without typing it al in manually?

Someone mention coping an XML file or a GPO possibility??

BEGIN
"In Outlook 2007, a user's master list of color categories is stored in XML
format in a hidden message"

You will need another "trick" (script):
http://www.outlookcode.com/codedetail.aspx?id=1583
END

BEGIN
GPO
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc179073.aspx
END

Your help is appreciated. Thank you.

With GPO you can share categories but not colors. The other options are:
typing manually, or programming a solution yourself.
