How can I setup automation of Installing Printers?

I would like to have a batch file or script (or something) that I can click
on and automatically install a networked printer. This would have to create
the port if it didn't exist and install the drivers. Our Printers are not
shared but are IP Addresses on the network.
Any suggestions?
All help would greatly be appreciated.
Thank You

I've found that InstallRite does this quite well - recently had to setup ten
LPR printers with some complex tray-selections, and this saved me an enormous
amount of work.

Couple of provisos when building the image- On XP you do need to check
you're not including other unrelated changes into the rollout-file. Closing
all unneeded apps and stop unneeded services while you're making the image
will help. Also, you need to ensure any previous copies of the driver or
remnants thereof are fully removed. There is a printer-deleter available from
http://www.kyocera.com which does this nicely.

Provided you have the LPR or MS IP client already installed, this method
will also create the ports.

Thank you very much for your responses, they both look as if they will help.
I will check back with my successes.
