How can I password protect my internet??

Hi, Im sharing a flat with a few friends but they keep
using my pc and downloading spyware and surfing warez
websites.

I was wondering if there is anyway to stop people from
using my internet connection by adding a password or
something?

Im using windows xp and Im on a broadband internet
connection, My internet explorer is version 6.0.2800.
