how can i make an email attachment a desktop shortcut

my email attachment is an excell spreedsheet that is in outlook;that id like
to have as an shortcut on my desktop. otherwise i have to log out, go under
another log in, and access the information from there. Mean while, while im
doing data entry under this other log in i have no access to my personsal
settings settings in my account
