Email category shortcut

I have a school and im trying to cut down on paper usage by sending emails.
my classrooms are divided into outlook categories.

Im trying to figure out a way to create a desktop shortcut that will
automatically open up a new email window with all the emails of a particular
category included in the bcc line.

I am a little new to this so any detailed help would be greatly appreciated.

on the desktop, right click a blank spot and pick New Shortcut
in the location of item, enter this:
mailto:emailaddress1?bcc=emailaddress2;emailaddress3, etc
the emailaddress1 has to be there because that's what goes in the TO: field,
you can put your own address there, then list the rest after the bcc=
You make a distribution list for each category, too, and use that instead of
the individual addresses

No. If you're using categories, you don't need DLs.
