How can I know if fonts are embedded?

How can I check to make sure fonts are embedded in the document? It looks
right on my machine, but of course I have the correct fonts. I changed the
Save settings to embed, and saved. Is there a properties box, or something,
that will tell me if the fonts are indeed embedded before I send it off?

AFAIK the tick box in the save options is the only place that will tell you.

I guess I should have noted the file size before the embedded save, then I
could compare to see if it was larger afterward.
Maybe I can remove that font temporarily and open it to check.
