How can i get my links to work in headers and footers?

i am usin MS office 2003,
in my document i have headers on every page with the title of the topic in
them
i also have footers on every page but these have links to my website and
forums.

however this does not work, the links are not clickable?

can anybody point me to a solution
All help is greatly appreciated
 
Hyperlinks (and any other text) in the header/footer layer are not
accessible when the insertion point is in the document layer. You'll need to
think of another approach.
