I have this persistent registry entry that i know is 100% safe to delete.
Windows persists on not letting me delete it.

any workarounds?
thank You

Hi

Have you got the appropriate Registry Permissions to delete the key?

If you mean Administrator Rights yes.
actually I am the administrator since this computer is at home.
But i have not seen any specific "Registry Permission" anywhere.

i have deleted entries in the past and i even did it today with some other
ones.
but this one persists with no apparent reason.

Hi

Right click on the relevent folder in the left hand pane, then select
Permissions. Make sure your account name is in the 'Group or user names:'
box.

OK i fixed it Thank you very much for the heads Up.
disregard every other post by me in this thread.
Problem Solved.
