How can I fix Acess 2007 issue

[Confused!]

I just downloaded Office trial. I tried to create a new database using a
template as well as one from scratch and got the following message every
time: Application is disabled, databases cannot be created.
How do I "enable" the application??

Have you defined the folder where you're trying to create the database as
being a Trusted Location (To trust your folder, click on the Office Button
(top left), choose Access Options (bottom of dialog), find the Trust Center
(left), click on the Trust Center Settings button, choose Trusted Locations
(left) then click on the Add new location button.)

Everything except "exit" is grayed out so I can't even do that.

Try doing it before you create the database.

Thanks, but I can't even get that far. That's the entire issue.
