I have received a number of Message failure messages following on from a
mailer i sent out. I was wondering whether there is a way of extracting all
the failed e-mail addresses from these messages so that i can delete them
from my database (which isn't Microsft Office, Its in Notepad format)?

At present it would be a case of copying each e-mail address and pasting
into Notepad, if you have any better ideas they would be welcomed.

In which case , it is not a database, just a list of email addresses. It
would be easier if it were a database, but following comments still apply.

You need custom Outlook code to extract the failed recipient address from
the bounce, then scan the notepad file, deleting the entry, and writing back
the new list.

None of this is available off-the-shelf, you need a programmer.
