How can I disable the security settings for your computer may be at risk

I have edited my registry to allow me to set my Internet zone to medium
low security. As an educated user, I prefer to make my own risk
choices. XP2 is just too conservative. I still encounter a
banner/warning every time I open IE. It reads "Your current security
setting put your compuyter at risk. Click here....". I can x out the
warning, but it comes back. Does anyone know the setting to change to
permanently eliminate such warnings?
