How can I create a poster?

Is there a way in Word to creat a poster of a picture that will be as big as
12-16 pages.
 
No. Word's page size is limited to 22" x 22". Your printer driver may offer
an option to "tile" a document to more than one sheet of paper, but you'd be
better off using Publisher or some other application that can deal with
larger page sizes.
