How can I carry partitioned drives from one OS drive to another?

I have 3 drives. Drive 0 has the OS (W2K) and is unpartitioned. Drives 1 and
2 are dynamic each with 3 simple volumes. My drive 0 became corrupted and I
had to replace it with a new one and reinstall W2K. The new version does not
recognise the partitions/volumes on Drives 1 and 2 altho ' on the Disk
Management Console it sees the drives albeit with a question mark attached.
Before I resort to Partition Magic or something similar are there any steps I
can take to rectify the problem?
TIA

I have answered my own question by IMPORTING the drives using Disk
Management. I was wary of using that command in case it cleared all the data
on the drives but much to my surprise it gave me access to all the volumes
and contents.
