I can sign into windows messenger but cannot access my hotmail account, it
doesn't recognise my password.I have changed my net passport to a new one
but still can't access my emails. I know that after 30 days the email
account cannot be accessed so that is why I created a new one.

Try installing the MSN Messenger....which is different than Windows
Messenger.

You should be able to retrieve your emails by going to
http://www.hotmail.com
