Hotmail log-in

Whenever I try to login to my Hotmail account using IE 6,I
het the following message:
"Your Web browser options are currently set to disable
cookies. To use .NET Passport, you must enable cookies."

I have cookies enabled on my machine.I had changed the
date on my machine some days back and had forgotten to
reset it for 2 days.Can this be the reason it does not
find the cookies.
Curiously,I don't get this problem on Netscape.

Yes. Delete all 'passport' cookies.

IE6 SP1 Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Edit> type in

passport.com
passport.net
hotmail.com
msn.com

and Allow All Cookies for each in turn.

based on my experience you will have to download this patch from Microsoft,
click on the following link to download it
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...28-5053-48A7-8526-BD38215C74B2&displaylang=en

install the patch and restart your computer and let me know the result, all

Doubtful, if Pashant has the most recent IE Cumulative Patch (30 Jul-04)
installed, as Q831167 dates from Feb-04.
