Hotmail Error Message Outlook 2002

When I synchronize Outlook 2002 with Hotmail, I can see in Outlook that there
are messages in the Inbox and other folders. However when I click on the
folder I get a message : Runtimer Error, Line 14, Do you wish to debug?

I have the SPA box checked in the setup. I use a cable modem. I have had
my Hotmail account for years.

MSN "reluctantly" so they say, no longer allows Hotmail to be downloaded to
Outlook or OE unless you upgrade your Hotmail account (a la Yahoo). Costs
$20/yr. They didn't publicize this as they should have.

You can't sychronize web mail. And you should NOT have SPA checked. That's
rarely used and is definitely not used for Hotmail. Your Hotmail acct w/
Outlook should work for now. It's new accts that are being denied access.

Thank you. However, after I signed up for the upgrade, I noticed 3 things:

1) I have the same problem. It's a different error than what I've read
about before, mine requests the debugger, error in line 14.

2) Even if I solve it, Hotmail's instructions only specifiy Outlook Express,
not Outlook itself.

3) I removed the SPA checkbox per another reply.

Any other ideas?
