Hello there,

I'm running Outlook 2002 and want to connect two different hotmail accounts.

One I have had success with, but the other always says the server is
unavailable. I've tried switching the default around and even tried removing
the functioning account so as to give complete 'priority' to the other.

The only thing I can think of is that the account that isn't working is
@hotmail.CO.UK. Is it that the server needs to be different for that of
@hotmail.COM or is it something else. The error message also mentions the
following code 0x800CCCFO

Any ideas appreciated

Many thanks

Ed

Microsoft has decided to go the way of Yahoo and charge a yearly fee for POP3
access or rather HTTP access through Outlook and the like. So from now on
you will have to pay for that type of service....as if they didn't make
enough money.:)

According to what I've read in this group and according to Microsoft (see
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=325114), Outlook 2002 supports only a
single Hotmail account in a profile. Some people have reported success in
opening more than one, but it's not consistent that it can be done.
