Can anyone tell me if there is anywhere on a windows 2000
advanced server where you can see all of the hot fixes
installed? I can see some in add/remove programs and some
in Citrix, but I know there are many more that are not
listed there. Is there somewhere in the registry that
they are stored, perhaps?

Not that I know of.
See the $NTUninstall....... folders in the Windows folder.

Hi Robyn,

That is a good question. In Windows, there are no single
point that you may search to find all of the patches and
service packs that are installed on your machine.
Unfortunately you can not depend on the NTunistall folders
because if the person who installed the patch did not want
to save the previous files, your assumptions can be
misleading. In my efforts of Configuration Management, I
have wrote a script that would search through the registry
and return a file list with all of the hotfixes and
service packs. There are several of companies that has
software to perform such task but the price tags are often
high.

I hope that this helps,

Calvin
