HOTFIX UPDATES

in my control panel add/remove list it says that i have
Hotfix (SP2) Q810400 yet i dont have nor do i want SP2
(online complications) can anyone tell me what this hotfix
does and if it has anything to do with SP2?

This update addresses the "USB Devices May Not Work After You Unplug a
Downstream USB Hub from the Host Controller" issue in Windows XP, and is
discussed in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) Article 810400.

Nothing to do with the SP2 Service Pack.

Nothing to do with the SP2 Service Pack.

Except that it was slated to be part of SP2 when it
was to be released, as were most or all of the hotfixes
since about last October.
