Do I need all of them? Can I safely remove any of them? A week ago I
had about 360MB of free space. Now I get "low disk space" or "very low
disk space" messages every day. I was forced to remove a number of
programs already, but still it's not enough. Can I avoid getting
bigger hard drive by getting rid of some (at least) of those updates?
For example anything without (SP2)?...

Thanks in advance for any help!

Those are for UNinstalling the Hotfixes. If you don't plan on
UNinstalling them, you can move or delete the subdirectories containing
the data from the Windows directory.

You are not going to gain a great deal of space by deleting the Hotfixes, in
the win folder. - if you remove using add/remove dialogue you are actually
uninstalling -
If you only have 360mb of free space you need either a larger disk, or to
add a second as slave.

besides you have no space to install sp2 that will remove
all those updates and put sp2 in the add/remove programs.

Hello,

Also make sure you empty your recycle bin, and run disk clean up

If you have more than one partition and PowerQuest PartitionMagic 8.0, you can resize your partition but not that it does not support Dynamic Disks.
If you want, try converting your partition to NTFS if it is FAT or FAT32 and
compress your files to save disk space.
