I am having trouble turning off hotbar.
When I open browswer, there is a hotbar embedded with ads.
I have to go to View>Toolbars>hotbar to uncheck it. I do that every time I
open browser.
The hotbar is in check again. Is there a way to do it permanently. Looks
like Registry is the only way to go. You can email me at

Hello, I have the same problem as you with the hotbar. I
uninstalled the program on Control Panel and is out now,
but I have a new problem: my address bar dissapear and I
don't know how to get it back, can you help me?

Regarding the hotbar Spyware, please read my post within this thread and install
and run the Ad-aware program. Spyware does not uninstall from Add/Remove
Programs - they would like to think so but that is not the case.

To get you address bar back, open Internet Explorer, click on "View" > "Toolbars" **Select** "Address Bar".

This will get your search window back.

this program quarantined all 191 objects. Since I am not sure which, i
selected all to be quarantined and that hotbar is gone forever. Hope
forever..
