Hot Fix

I am trying to clean up my computer by deleting
programs. When I get to these "Hot Fix" I don't know
what to do with them. I did not download them and do not
understand what they are. Can they be removed?

Vanessa,

Those are installed through Windows Update [Automoatic updates, may be]. Don't uninstall them, but you can remove the hotfix backup files using the method discussed here:

Leave 'em there not herting anything.You may need

them.there from MS update to do things like keep your
computer from being hacked,someone thaking controll over
you system.If your looking in add/remove just leave them
alone.

Personally I wouldnt uninstall any of the hotfix back up files. if you ever need to remove a hotfix you cant from the add and remove programs group.
