hot fix problem with Aol and Q811493

Aol tech support inform me that it is the above hot fix that is causing a shut down problem with aol.

When I shut down the aol.dial.exe shutting down dialogue box appears.

Can you help ?

Hotfix Q811493 is a security patch to stop users from elevating there login privlages, But to exploit this security hole the person would have to have physical access to your computer (hands on your keyboard) It cannot be exploited remotely.
If this computer is used by only you and your family it really is not needed
Just uninstall the hotfix via add/remove.
