When I try to go to google, i recieved a message that a
program has been installed on my computer that prevents
me from reaching google and to go into the hosts files
and deleteall lines that relateto google. Is this OK?
Also I noticed that all of the lines have the same ip
address. Is that right?
Thanks
Joe

Doesn't sound good. If all the entries point to one place, you have
spyware/adware on your system. Download Adaware or Spybot Search and
Destroy to remove this software. If those tools don't restore the hosts
file, delete all entries except the localhost 127.0.0.1 entry.

hosts may be found at %windir%\system32\drivers\etc. Open with
notepad.exe. Make sure you save with no extension or save and then
rename to no extension.
