Hosting companies

Please can someone tell me a reliable organization that reviews hosting
companies? (There are so many of them and I don't know if companies pay for
the "reviews" or whether they are honest reviews.)

I am looking for a hosting company for a fairly simple website (100 files
and less than 2 Meg). I need FP extensions, and need to be able to set users
and permissions for subwebs. (My current hosting company doesn't allow more
than a single user if you use their FP extensions!) I want to pay ~ $12 per
month or less.

Thanks for any help!

I can highly recommend Alentus.com packages starting at 9.95 - EXCELLENT service too.

I don't know about review sites, but I've used DreamHost for a couple
years and have been very happy. I think their web panel is especially
powerful and easy to use. Their plans start at $9.95 per month, which
includes hosting for up to 3 full domains and 15 subdomains (and
unlimited forwarded or mirrored domains).

I haven't used permissions for subwebs, but their web panel allows you
to setup different users (up to 15 for the $9.95 plan) with
permissions and such, so I don't see any reason it wouldn't work.

http://www.dreamhost.com/ or
http://www.dreamhost.com/rewards.cgi?austicke if you want to be
generous. :)

Good luck with your search.
