host does not support SharePoint

You don't need SharePoint for XML. If you're on a Windows Host and they
have MSXML installed it should work just fine. Ask your host.
 
i am so frustrated.

I have 0 (zero) programming experience, which is probably my real problem.

I have a document tree that I have no idea what to do with. I save it as a
..xml file , now i am lost. I have no idea how to display the data in the xml
file. Since my host does not have SharePoint, i cannot use insert dataview
or insert Web part. so i have a blank page and a .xml file saved that does
nothing.
