Hosting with Sharepoint

I'd like to create a data-driven web site with Frontpage 2003. In Frontpage
Help, it says that I need a hosting web server with Sharepoint services for
that. Where can I find the cheapest web hosting companies with Sharepoint ?

You don't need SharePoint unless you want to run Data View or Parts (and a closed user intranet)
- you can have a data-driven site (using a DB and server side coding) w/ the FP Server Extensions

Correct

One thing though. You could have your site hosted on a Linux box with FP
Server Extension.
This is for simple sites designed with Frontapge and require .htm or .html
extensions. To use .asp extension scripts for data driven request, you will
need to host your site on a true Windows base server. If it is on a Linux
box, then the database features from your menu in Frontpage will be greyed
out. Contact your ISP to confirm.

It can be done on Linux box, but it will require some heavy manual coding
and will never be a true Frontpage site and the support will be harder
because of the 2 different server formats being brought together.

Hope this helps...
