I was having trouble with my printer a friend told me to find the disk for
the printer, uninstall and then reinstall it. The problem I have is it is
asking for my xp home edition cd, I can not find it anywhere. what can I do?

Because you didn't provide the Printer software driver, the system asking
you for XP CD to install from the available drivers on it.
Try to visit the printer manufacturer web site and download the printer
software for your Printer specs.
