I have just bough A D-Link router and was able to share
my broadband internet between two of my computers without
any set up. I however am unable to set up a network to
share my files and play multiplayer games. Can some one
help me?

i have tried making a network through a network setup
wizard but when i saved the files to a floppy and ran it
on my other computer, both computers apperantly made
their own networks and r unable to connect even though i
gave them the same workgroup name.

my router is connected to both computers and to a modem

Internet-> cable modem-> router-> 1) win XP
]
\/
2) win 98SE

also the 2nd computer keeps loosing internet connection
periodicly and apperantly we both have the same external
ip and diffrent internal one mine ending on .100 and his
on .101.
the following is a message i got when i was trying to
host a game on Game Spy arcade:

Proxy or Firewall Detected.

GameSpy Arcade has detected that your computer's internal
IP address (192.168.0.100) is different than its external
IP address (24.2.251.78). This may be caused by
firewalls, a NAT proxies, or other unusual network
configurations and may prevent you from hosting a game.
Please see our Firewall Guide for further information.
You can access it by choosing "Help with GameSpy Arcade"
from the Help menu.
