Home Network / Print Share Help

I have a desktop PC running Windows 2000 and connected to a parralel printer.

I have a second notebook PC with a wireless card used to access the Internet
through a Netgear router.

I would like to set up a workgroup that will allow for print sharing between
these two computers and have no idea how to do this.

I recall once seeing a "how to" on this that covered all sorts of workgroup
set up/ tcpip / ip address / NetBios etc. issues. Can anyone recommend a
good step by step instruction on how to make this work?

Thanks.

Assuming the PCs are BOTH running Windows 2000 and the printer is currently
set up and running on the one PC:

1.)on the PC with the printer
Right click on the printer and choose sharing - share the printer - give it
an easy name like PRINTER

2.)on the other PC go to start then run then type
\\IPOFTHECOMPUTERWITHTHEPRINTER\PRINTER

Click OK\YES to add the printer.

You need to have a static IP for the PC with the printer for this to work
all the time . . .
