Won't work because the browser will be looking for a folder named index
Instead use the full file name www.mysite.com/index.html or default.html which ever
applies.
You can also use a relative link by using insert hyperlink and browsing to your home page
in the hyperlink dialog.
just that shows up in the address bar. When doing the properties of the
home button I can set it to link to the ../index.htm or just the .com. Does
it really make any difference? Is one way better for search engines, etc.
I am also having trouble with my hit counter. See post above.
If you link as
<a href="http://www.you.com">link text</a>
or
<a href="http://www.you.com"><img border="0" src="HomeButton.gif" alt="Your
main keyword"></a>
it will help you a bit with the search engines. The idea is to leave out
index.htm
